Terms of Service

By engaging Global Website Designer for any service, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services

Global Website Designer provides website fix, development, SEO, security and technical support services. The scope of each engagement is agreed upon before work begins.

2. Payment

  • Payments are processed via Wise in USD, GBP, AUD, CAD or AED.
  • For one-time fixes, payment is due upon completion of work.
  • For larger projects, a 50% deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Monthly support plans are billed in advance.

3. Fix Guarantee

If we are unable to resolve the specific issue agreed upon, no payment is required for that fix. This guarantee applies to the specific problem described — it does not cover unrelated issues or issues that arise after our work is completed.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate access credentials (hosting, WordPress admin, FTP, etc.)
  • Ensure they have the right to authorise changes to the website
  • Maintain a recent backup before work begins (we can assist with this)
  • Respond to our communications in a timely manner

5. Access & Security

Any credentials shared with us are used solely for the agreed service and are treated with strict confidentiality. We recommend changing passwords after work is completed. We will never share or store your credentials beyond the duration of the engagement.

6. Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Emergency fixes are prioritised. Delays caused by client non-response are not our responsibility.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for lost revenue, data loss or other consequential damages. Clients are strongly advised to maintain regular backups.

8. Intellectual Property

All custom code and work product created by us for a client becomes the client's property upon full payment. We retain the right to reference the work in our portfolio unless specifically agreed otherwise.

9. Cancellations

Work in progress may be cancelled with written notice. Work already completed is billable. Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to begin the agreed work.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; legal proceedings may be taken in courts of Thane, Maharashtra.
